I’ve spent 4 years now trying to get more support for Skills Guernsey. As the lead for the group, with a team of good people with me, we produced and Action Plan. If we don’t get focus and funding on this in the next few months and years then Guernsey will founder. We have always depended on the skills of our people but recently skills has not been seen as particularly important. This needs to change. This needs more support and more priority. Here is an update on the Action Plan that was published earlier in September – this is very much the beginning.
