About Me

I’m a Guernsey girl with generations of ancestors who have contributed to making our beautiful island the wonderful place it is today.

Growing up in Guernsey and the Far East, I have been fortunate in having a broad perspective on life from an early age. I have a degree in Japanese and lived, studied and worked away from Guernsey in Japan and England before returning to Guernsey in my early 20s. I worked the Trust industry, and founded 2 companies whilst I was at home looking after my children: FWS Ltd and Guernseymums.gg, both still going concerns under new ownership. My husband Colin and I have three children, and we cherish family time, exploring Guernsey, and learning about our history. My political interests focus on securing a good legacy for future generations.

First and foremost as a Deputy, I am a member of the States of Deliberation and the States of Election. I am required to attend all convened meetings, where we discuss, debate and vote on policy and legislative matters.

Since 2020, I have been the President of the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture. From 2016 I sat on both Committees for Education Sport & Culture for nearly 2 years and Economic Development for the 4 year term.

I was the Vice President of Economic Development for 2 years.

Life as a Deputy…. a challenge, but it’s a privilege and one I love!
